What is the hungry hippie?
We are a 100% vegan, gluten free, and soy free meal prep and delivery service. In addition to our meal delivery service we also offer seasonal catering, snack bundles, and date night kits.
Our founder and chef, LisaMarie Falcone, is a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach and designs each weeks menu to be nutritionally balanced.

how does it work?
Every Monday the new menu will be released you can find the full menu and ingredients on our MENU page. All orders can be placed here as well. Orders are due by 10AM every Thursday. Local orders are delivered on Sunday’s. Orders requiring shipping will be sent out on Monday afternoon.

When can i place my order?
Orders can be placed as early as the new menu is posted, but the deadline is Thursday at 10AM
how do i get started?

what is the difference between a plan and the a la carte menu?
The menu is the same, but the plans come with a complimentary serving of the weekly appetizer and snack!
do you have a monthly membership program?
We do! If you know you LOVE our meal service and want the ease of not having to remember to order weekly you can sign up for a monthly plan here.
how do i pay?
Payment is due at the time you place your order. We accept paypal and credit card payments.
how do i prepare the meals?
All the meals are delivered to you fully cooked and ready to be heated. Every Sunday morning you will receive an email from LisaMarie with stories, nutritional information, or her inspiration behind each of the meals. In addition there will be any heating or prep instructions!
how are the meals packaged?
They are packaged in reusable plastic containers. One of LisaMarie’s goals is to be more sustainable and eco-friendly, so she encourages you to invest in glass containers that can be swapped at delivery time! All meals are packed single serving style unless otherwise noted in the weekly email.
what if i have an allergy or sensitivity?
If you have any allergies or intolerances please make a note in the “Additional Comments” Section. We try our best to modify meals to accommodate allergies but we may not be able to for all meals. If we are unable to modify we will reach out.
are you 100% organic?
No, we use organic products as much as we can whenever we can, but there are occasionally situations where we use conventional products. However, we are making sure that the conventionally grown produce is non-GMO and roundup free.
do you count calories or macros?
No, we believe that as long as you are eating plants and using natural ingredients there is no need. We focus on reducing inflammation, by using clean ingredients and correct cooking methods.
when do you deliver?
We deliver on Sundays to all local NJ addresses. If you are in NJ and local you will receive a delivery ETA Saturday evening. We encourage you to be home for your delivery window especially in the Summer.
If your order requires Shipping we send out via FedEx or UPS via ground shipping on Monday afternoons. Tracking information is sent out Monday afternoons.
where do you deliver?
If you are in NJ please email us to see if you fall within our “Local” delivery zone.
We can ship FedEx or UPS to parts of NJ, NY, PA, and CT.
